OurThings allows members to create a public image of their home. This “facade” also functions as the means of aggregating all of the essential information related to that home. This could range from everything that one might find in a real estate listing such as size, age, construction time, and number of rooms to plans, summary images, and a narrative that one builds around the home. In addition, it allows the member to annotate the image with additional details such as contact information for neighbors, planned maintenance, or landscaping services. 

The member is also given complete control of how much information they would like to share with friends, family, and the general public. They can easily align the spaces within their home with different groups of friends and family. As the member continues to use the platform, they can add as many homes as they desire. These homes can be both homes that they already own as well as future homes that they are planning to buy or even dreams that help them to visualize and actualize future goals.
