OurThings is building a digital place that supports collaborating with your parents, children, and tribe on building a home and collection of lasting value. It is a customized platform that unites manufacturers, retailers, interior designers, and collectors around building and maintaining the space in which we live. The platform is powered by an algorithm that uses artificial intelligence to organize the things we own, learn your personal style, and to help us plan for and collaborate on the future. The result is a fun experience of learning about brands and designers, creating one’s spaces, and purchasing items chosen specifically for your style, project, timeline, and budget–all without ads.

The organization of the platform is guided by a gradient from a global perspective to the details of the specific things we own and the services that support our lifestyle. A new member is invited to begin by claiming their home on the map and discover the things, designers, brands, and public homes that are of interest to them. They are always welcome to return to this macro view to visualize and navigate their world. As the member toggles between icons on the bottom of their screen, they shift from the global perspective to updates from their community, the image of the homes they present to the community (along with associated details and privacy settings), their personal collection, project planning and marketplace for recommended items, and associated 3rd party services.
